The major shareholders of HSH are members of the Kadoorie family who have held shares in the Company since the turn of the 20th century. Their current holding amounts to approximately 57% of the shares in issue and they regard their interest as a long-term core investment.

The Hon. Sir Michael Kadoorie is the third generation of the family to have held the post of Chairman, following his grandfather, father and uncle at the helm.
