Our Guests

Our guests are thoughtful citizens of the world. They are evolving with the times and we know that every decision made – from the way we design our buildings to the way we make our beds – is an opportunity to enhance their experience with us. We curate experiences around our guest needs, while not compromising on the wellbeing of people, our communities, or the environment.

Our Commitments

Sustainable Buildings & Operations

We are committed to developing and operating sustainable buildings that will help facilitate our transition to a low carbon future. Our goal is to leave behind a legacy of the highest quality assets.

We do this through minimising our consumption of valuable resources, using energy and water efficient equipment, and ensuring our buildings are operating at optimal performance. Where possible, we continue to increase the use of energy from renewable sources to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels.

Our approach is guided by global best standards. We ensure new builds and major renovation projects are aligned to international green building certifications, such as BREEAM and LEED, while our hotel operations are all EarthCheck certified.

Waste Management

Since 2018, we have been working towards transitioning away from single-use plastics. Our bathroom amenities line, which we transitioned from plastic to more sustainable materials such as wood and recyclable aluminum bottles, will be fully replaced with ceramic bulk dispensers. We have also removed almost all single-use guest facing items such as straws, stirrers, takeaway packaging and in-room water bottles.

Responsible Supply Chain

We seek to offer our guests the finer things in life, ensuring they have been sourced responsibly and sustainably.

We strive to source 100% of our key commodities (e.g. tea, coffee, chocolate, paper, cleaning products) from sources that minimise environmental degradation, be it the use of hazardous chemicals, critically endangered flora and fauna, or linked to destructive deforestation.

Where possible, we source locally so we can highlight and tell the rich histories of the places we call home.
